Layout Guide

This room relies on symmetry and breathing room.

• Center the sofa on the main wall to establish balance
  
• Place accent chairs perpendicular to the right and left of the the sofa
  
• Keep 16 to 18 inches between seating and the coffee table
  
• Anchor all furniture on the rug to define the conversation area
  
• Use full-length drapery mounted high to visually raise the ceiling. Hang the drapery as high as possible with 1″ clearance to the floor.
