What exactly is an interior design consultation and what should you expect? I’m so glad you asked. Our Remodel Clarity Session service is our most popular and affordable service. We generally have 2 -3 Sessions scheduled each week. They last for two hours, and after each session, I am mentally and physically exhausted.

Why? Because our consultations are a premium, white glove, hands-on service. Here is what you can expect when you book an interior design consultation with us:

1 | Consultations with KTJ Design Co are all-encompassing

First, my team and I lug in two large crates of catalogs and samples. Second, we run around your house taking measurements, sketching ideas, taking pages of notes, analyzing the construction and finishes, and brainstorming a multitude of ideas.

Third, you get to pick my brain about all things design. I typically meet with husband and wife duos who simultaneously throw questions at me, which causes me to swing my head back and forth like I’m watching a tennis match, freely giving my best advice. It’s a high energy interaction–a performance if you will.

You’ll get a lot out of our sessions regardless of who you are or what your background might be. As I reflect on the homeowners I’ve meet this month, I’m thankful that I’ve been able to meet such interesting and amazing people from all walks of life.

2 | Consultations help you make financial decisions wisely

Remodeling or refurnishing your home is an investment (a big one). If you are only shopping on price, you should ask yourself, “Am I rich enough to afford the cost of poor quality?”

Believe me when I say that the headaches, repairs, time delays, early deterioration, and other problems caused by poor quality typically are not worth the savings. Ironically, buying well-made, timeless, high quality products will save you money in the long run.

There is a lot of homework you have to complete before we meet, because I want you step out of your busy life and take a few moments to think about what you want to accomplish so that I can help you explore your options and ensure our time together is productive and efficient.
