7 Beautiful Chandelier Ideas for Your Foyer
The foyer is the catch-all place for shoes, purses, wallets, keys, and spare change. While it should be an attractive space that sets the precedent for the rest of your home, it is often a cluttered and forgotten area.
The good news? After a bit of sorting and organization, you only need to add a few new elements to make your foyer a statement piece:
1. Add small, narrow table or cabinet, topped with bowls for keys and change and baskets underneath for the shoes and backpacks

…but we aren’t quite done. The one thing I often find missing in foyers is a great statement light fixture.
I recently selected a chandelier for a foyer and made a big mistake: My grand statement piece was too large! I forgot the ceiling height was 8 feet and would not accommodate a chandelier. What it really needed was a flush-mounted light fixture.
At first, I was disappointed; I wanted this chandelier to announce the home’s grandeur. I let my creative focus on the perfect chandelier cloud my mathematical focus and forgot all about the dimensions. Darn it!
However, there was a bright side. This launched my hunt for flush-mount light fixtures that looked stylish and statement-worthy.
