Affordable Luxury Furniture Store Opens in Stockton, CA

Not all furniture is created equal, nor are all furniture stores. When I opened The Shoppe at KTJ Design Co., I wanted a unique boutique furniture store that made people want to come and linger. And guess what? When people come into our store, they often comment that they “don’t want to leave.”

We’re not one of those salesy furniture stores. Our sales people (who are also interior designers) have nothing to gain other than a happy client. We encourage you to wander, to look at, touch, and test anything that catches your eye. We won’t follow you around, but we’ll also be easy to find if you have questions. We’ll most likely offer you a cold glass of iced tea or even a cocktail.

We’ve curated three distinct vignettes (that rotate frequently) that you can purchase to furnish your home. If you don’t see exactly what you want, no problem. We can create a made-to-order room for you from our extensive furniture lines.

Here is an example of Vignette #4 on our showroom floor. One client, Tina, liked everything but the sofa. In that situation, we designed a sectional that was“just right” for her home while incorporating the other pieces.

When designing a room, I like to start with the rug and work my way up from there. When I saw this new arrival in July at the Furniture Market, I fell in love. Its updated traditional style is perfect for that ultra-trendy Boho vibe.

Kearns sofa is a modern style sofa with large track arms, three on three loose cushions and a banded front. The contrast welt makes it fun and different. The 100% polyester linen look fabric is high-performance, perfect for active households.

I prefer a large cocktail table that anchors the room. This gray washed oak wood top looks like a tray levitating on its shiny stainless steel based and provides ample amounts of both function and style.

The Mason high leg motorized recliner has a tufted back cushion paired with accent wings and sloped, track arms. It coordinates perfectly with the Cinder Kearns sofa and Kilim rug covered in Capri high-performance fabric.

Poufs add texture and style to any living space. Use it to put your feet up, lean on from the floor, or as extra seating during a party.
