Lucky for us, there are many things we can do to turn the situation around and get our well-deserved good night sleep. If the place where you sleep brings about a nice, warm feeling of comfort and satisfaction, then your brain and body will relax, and you’ll just plunge into the world of dreams in next to no time.

Try to get natural elements to decorate your bedroom – they add coziness to any space: wood, rattan, stone or wool, for instance. Avoid large metal or plastic elements, which usually induce a strange sensation of artificiality. The proper bedding also makes a huge difference. Choose natural fabrics, if possible; go for silky sheets in soothing colors, soft quilt, delicate duvet, preferably hypoallergenic covers and as many pillows as you think you may need. But if you don’t like this remedy, try an even simpler solution: herbal sleep pillows. Various aromatic herbs are stuffed into small pouches which get placed inside the pillowcase of your cushion. The soothing scent not only will help you sleep better, but it will also contribute to creating an intimate ambiance in your bedroom.
